Life is meant to be lived.
Life is meant to be full of experiences that you might never have the pleasure of experiencing again, and life is definitely too short to be thinking about what could have been when you are old and grey.
So, what is one of the best ways to live life to the fullest? Well, we have to argue that it’s through travel.
Nothing is more exciting or enriching than knowing you’re going to step on a plane, or jump in a car, and go an see somewhere that you’ve never seen before. But so many people are held back from travel, and we just can’t let you live your life this way!
Here are a few reasons why you should live your life to the fullest through travel:
Amazing Experiences
Trust us, you’re going to have some amazing life experiences.
It doesn’t matter what country you visit, they all have something unique to offer that you wouldn’t have seen in any of the other countries. One moment you could be rappelling down the Grand Canyon. The next you could be riding one of the elephants through a rainforest in Thailand. There are all things you just wouldn’t be able to do in your home country, hence why we think you should go and explore the world.
Take Joshua Spencer as an inspiration. He started a bucket list and is making sure he works on that list to give himself the most amazing life experiences possible. We highly recommend you do something like this. A bucket list is there to guide you, and to remind you of all the fun things you want to be able to do in life. Fill it with different countries, and different experiences that you would want to have from that country.
Friends For Life
You will make friends for life if you decide to go traveling.
If you go traveling solo, then you’re definitely going to be able to do this. You’ll have no choice but to bond with the people you meet, or the experiences you’ll have might be rather lonesome.
Even if you’re traveling with someone, perhaps a friend or partner, you should still be able to meet loads of crazy and cool people along the way. Backpackers are some of the best to meet. They have an energy that can’t be matched, and a drive to live life to the fullest that you’ll need to learn from.
Life Lessons
It’ll definitely teach you some important life lessons. If you’re going to go on your own, it’ll definitely teach you independence, and the ability to manage money.
Whilst we have hyped traveling up a lot, there’s obviously a cost that comes with it.
If you were to go for months at a time, you would either have had to have saved up thousands beforehand, or you’ll be working in all of the different countries as you go along.
It’ll also teach you to be grateful for what you have. Some of the places and countries you’ll visit will have people a lot less fortunate than you, and it can often be hard to witness.
