CATARATAS DEL IGUAZU
Puerto Iguassu, Argentina
It was drizzling nonstop in the 2 days that we were in and around Iguazu Falls. While the inclement weather made the sky a bit dreary, it also seemed to create this eerily beautiful, almost-dreamlike atmosphere–with the fog and mist blending with the rushing of the waters.
I had been to Niagara a year before this visit and boy, I finally understand why people describe this sight as “Niagara on Viagra”.
There were rows upon rows of cataracts (yes, that’s what they are called), with the biggest called the Devil’s Throat.
It was truly an amazing sight!
