Italy-sweet-Italy!
This is a magical country that is full of so much life and culture. It’s a vibrant place, and that resonates through the soul. We instantly fell for its charms when visited the country the first time–as we discovered various cities such as Rome, Venice, Milan, Sorrento, Capri and so many more. We have fond memories of our time there and can’t wait to go back!
So if you’re planning on taking a trip away somewhere nice this year, then consider going to this boot-shaped country.

Are you ready for an adventure?
Travelling is a part of life that everyone should experience, whether that be when you’re in your twenties or your sixties. One of the main reasons that holds people back from jetting off around the world – is themselves.

They’re ‘waiting for the right time’. But the honest truth is that there is never a right time.
If you think this way then you’ll be wasting your life waiting for that big wake up call that may never come. And if you delve a little deeper into yourself, you may just realise that you’re purposely holding yourself back because really you’re scared.

You’re scared of that unknown adventure that may draw you to places you could never have imagined.
Some people have the outlook of an explorer, so they see that as being an exciting challenge full of adrenaline and trepidation. But others will look at it feeling very overwhelmed and frightened. – This is okay too. It’s absolutely normal. But one of the biggest mistakes that you could ever do is allowing this to stop you from making your dreams a reality.

So if you’re ready to take the leap – here are just a few things that you can do in that captivating country named Italy:

Learn the language

When you set foot into another country, one of the best things you can ever do to show your respect and admiration, is to learn the language. Now, this doesn’t mean you need to be able to speak fluently once you’re there. But merely brushing up on common words for greetings and how to say please and thank you will go down so well. You could even take it that one step further by going to an Italian language school and having lessons to improve not only your Italian vocabulary, but also how to properly pronounce the words, as that is just as important.

See the sights

There are so many different places to uncover in Italy, as well as many famous landmarks that people travel all over the world to visit, like the Colosseum and the Leaning Tower of Pisa just to name a couple. But if you manage to look past these oh so popular interests, you will find so many beautiful areas that are simple, and yet create a fantasy that one wants to paint. As you walk down the backstreets on the cobbled stone paths, you may bump into quite a few local artists that leave their home every day to appreciate their surrounds the only way they know how.

Try the food

There are so many wonderful delicacies to try in Italy, from ravioli, lasagne, prosciutto and of course pizza! You can find many of the best restaurants hidden away on the back streets, all you need to do is follow the glow of flickering candles, the sound of distant music, and the hum of chatter and laughter. You mustn’t forget the wine either, as Italy have a lot of their own special wines that are made from the grapes growing in their own backyards!
